What it is.
Motorised shading manages light, heat and privacy without anyone walking the rooms. Blinds and curtains open at sunrise, close at sunset, and know to let you sleep in on weekends. On a hot afternoon they drop to hold the heat out; in the evening they close for privacy as the lights come up.
How Baillie does it.
Baillie integrates shading onto the same Control4 system as lighting and climate, so the home works as one. Sheer curtains soften the glazing through the day, and the controls stay invisible: no cords, no separate remotes, just the right position at the right time.
At a glance
- Blinds and curtains that track sunrise and sunset
- Glare and heat managed automatically through the day
- Privacy that closes in step with the evening lighting
- One system with lighting, climate and the rest of the home
Designed, installed and supported by one studio.
Paired with the sun
Shading that follows the day.
Blinds can move on a schedule or with the sun's position, holding glare off the screens and heat out of the rooms when the afternoon sun is strongest.
Quiet and cordless
No remotes, no cords.
Motorised tracks run quietly behind the architecture. Control sits on the keypad and the app, so there are no dangling cords and nothing to lose down the back of the couch.
Part of the scene
Light, blinds and climate together.
Shading joins the home's scenes. A morning scene lifts the blinds with the lighting; a movie scene drops them with the lights for the room to go dark.
